I would say that there's no community spirit.

I live here for 2 years

I was living at erm..sorry…where did..where was used to live..I was living at Arovive…Lakales! Arovive Lakales and then the council move over from Lakales to over here. Where I was living at a private accommodation but this is my flat now.

Well like for er, I would like to do something for the kids there. Thus they can go over there especially when school give school holiday. They can go over there and have and have fun and they can have different terms and er different things over there. That would be good. For the kids there.

Well I work. So it would be good for the kids there. And then when I come from work and I come home and pick them up…from over there. Like a centre. Like a school club. My son is 13, and I have to go work everyday especially like er erm… summer holiday coming. Your worried for if there is nowhere to keep him. So things like those would be good for the kids there.

Leaving..leaving them on their own, it’s, it’s very bad because around here, around here is not too perfect. There always have some gangs around here fighting, and everything because…last year, or sometimes, this year, stabbing hap..there’s stabs someone at my door step…about 3 times! Yeah, what er..there erm..carrydoor going up I weren’t erm.. I weren’t at my doorstep, I wasn’t erm.. I was at work but when I come, when I come er I saw the blood. Yeah and when I come back I couldn’t even get in because they had, they had erm tape around. So we have kids here, you have to be careful, yeah especially with, since they finish with that park, there’s a lot of kids coming in. Yeah, a lot of kids coming from everywhere. Yeah so you have to be careful with your kids.

Ermm…like 20 years..Ah well..My nan’s lived here for 20 years. But I’ve been you know staying with her since I was born. So about 16 years.

A youth club. Youth centre. Cause there is nothing to do around this area like, there’s nothing to do..it’s boring around here. And there’s no youth club, there’s only that adventure up..that’s like..it’s just like..kids..I donno I just want it to, I just want to have a youth club so that there is things to do like, through the day and that.

I don’t even know where it is really, but yeah, I want a youth club around here.

Bout 6 months

Either something for kids, like a really nice activity centre that families could bring their kids to, cause I don’t think there’s much of it around. Or a really nice park that’s also very accessible. I like that there a tennis court or a basket ball court just around the corner just something like that. Or a leisure centre as well, that would be nice. Because there will just be more things to do in this area, and it would attractive more…investment maybe into the area if a lot of people were coming here..it would probably look a lot better as well. Maybe the council would put in a bit more money into this area
